Emma Morton & The Graces

  • Brig Below 96-98 Leith Walk Edinburgh, Scotland, EH7 5HN United Kingdom (map)

Tickets £4 from Eventbrite or £5 OTD
The roots, jazz, and homespun Scottish Folk and Blues band, Emma Morton + the Graces are continuing their tour after a season of sold-old shows in theatres, clubs, jazz clubs and festivals throughout Italy and Europe. They are currently promoting their album Bitten by the Devil, oozing with guests and collaborators like Platinum Selling Artist Raphael Gualazzi, Gabriele Evangelis, Antonio Gramentieri e Grammy Winner Gene Paul.

“Emma Morton + the Graces’ live show offers more than just a taste of the band’s unique psychotropic sound-cocktail, fizzing with Afro-American and Scottish Folk influences; their emotionally charged improvisation and authentic dialogue not only speaks to their audiences but invites them to take part in the hunt for truth as they expose and explore the beautiful contaminations which hide in the dark and decorate and distort the prosody of every day life.”

Scottish singer-songwriter Emma Morton’s ascendancy through the European music scene has seen her work gain increasingly high-profile recognition. Emma has enjoyed reaching TOP 3 in the Italian charts, numerous television and radio performances, soundtrack feature releases, over 240K downloads on Spotify, and has collaborated and performed with international artists including Olly Murs, Paolo Nutini, Alejandro Escovedo and Glen Hansard.
