We have a special Guest Farzane Zaman. An Iranian musician, producer, singer and songwriter who is based in Glasgow. She published songs in Farsi and English releasing most of her songs through online music service, with almost 800,000 plays. Farzane’s music is indie pop which is influenced by western pop-rock and folk music. She has recently been awarded a prestigious Artist Protection Fund Fellowship and is currently on her six-month APF Fellowship mentored by Earthsounz, managed by Eric Hathaway. Her plan for this fellowship is working on Azerbaijani folk music, as she describes which is going back to her basics and roots. She’s been active in Glasgow music scene, playing and singing along with high profiled bands from different countries including Swedish female band called Forbidden Orchestra. One of her recent dominant activities was playing and singing in Celtic Connections at Royal Concert Hall of Glasgow, with the multicultural band called BEMIS.
